Last week I was invited to join We Blog North in sampling a new eatery and bar in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. The NQ is by far my favourite part of Manchester for a day out or a night out and I was so pleased to discover that 33 Oldham Street caters for both. From their delicious brunch to their happy hour cocktails.
I enjoyed the Salmon & Chive Cream Cheese Bagel and was so impressed at just how much Salmon I got! Their brunch menu offers the perfect mix of vegan/veggie options, healthy options and the good old full english. Brunch is served until midday and then they have an awesome selection of sandwiches salads and burgers along with the old classic - a Sunday Roast. They also have a £5 Lunch Deal Monday - Friday 11.30-3 where you can choose from a selection of their lunch menu for you guessed it 5 English Pounds!! Bargain!
33 Oldham Street is split across three floors, with a roof terrace opening some time in 2019! By day the top floor is perfect for those who work from home and fancy a change of scenery. Comfy seating to set up your laptop and enjoy a coffee. The middle floor houses more seating for dining along with a state of the art DJ set up, which if you hire the venue out, you get exclusive use of! How fun is that!? The ground floor features booth seating and a stunning bar. I'm yet to sample this venue in the evening but certainly will be doing.
With ties to the festival, Kendal Calling, it's no surprise that the playlist was pretty impressive for a Thursday afternoon. The decor pays homage to the festival vibes and of course Manchester's musical heritage. The walls are covered in amazing art work and
I was pleased to hear that 33 Oldham Street do their bit for charity. On the 11th July they are flogging some of the best photos from Kendal Calling Festival to raise money for Big Change, a Manchester Charity for homelessness.
Brunch was gifted in exchange for a review on trustpilot. I chose to blog about this place because I loved it so much!
